Dore Village

Dore Village is our nearest shopping location. It is a ten minute walk along Limb Lane. The Co-op is well stocked and opens from 0700 until 2200 every day. Dore has defied the demise of retail and local services and boasts a Post Office, opticians, chemist, doctors’ surgery, dentist, chiropodist, florist, barber, hairdressers, beautician as well as a service garage, an independent greengrocers and even a seamstress.

Your drinking and dining needs are well catered for with two restaurants, a fish and chip shop and several public houses.

There are three churches in Dore, an Anglican Church, a Methodist Church and a United Reformed Church.
