Excellent taxi services are provided by firms such as Uber and Veezu as well as private drivers. Taxis are available to the railway stations, Manchester Airport and into the Hope Valley.

Bus
There are bus stops in both directions where Whinfell Court meets Ecclesall Road South. The 81 is ideal for commuting to Sheffield or for a dash into Dore. The 272 follows the beautiful Hope Valley to Castleton. This is ideal for exploring the Dark Peak. The 65 is more southerly toward the White Peak. Route 81 - Sheffield to Dore - every 30 minutes during the day: Route 272 - Sheffield to Castleton - Once an hour: Route 65 - Sheffield to Tideswell - Roughly every two hours.

Train
Local trains leave from the recently upgraded Dore Station, at the bottom of Dore Road. Commuter trains serve Sheffield, Stockport and Manchester. The trains are used to access the Peak District for recreational purposes via the Hope Valley Line. Trains to Manchester Airport are easily accessed via Manchester Piccadilly. There is free car parking available for travellers from Dore Station.
